 ST. LOUIS IN OCTOBER As stated in previous newsletters A/1/7 warriors and guest will be meeting in St. Louis 20 -23 October and the plans for our 7th Annual Reunion has been just about completed by our Chairman Gabe Conde and his lady Virginia. If you plan on attending our reunion then you should be contacting the Holiday Inn, West Port 314-434-0100 to book your room reservations. The price of the room is $79.00 plus 13.83% tax. This price is for a King or Double Bed Occupancy. There are 65 rooms blocked for our use and when calling please inform them that you are with the A/1/7 Marine Corps Association. All reserva-tions should be made no later than 23 September 2002. Gabe and Virginia have an agreement with the Discover Tours of St. Louis at a cost of $32.00 per person for the tour of the famous Arch, Union Station (where we will be having lunch on our own). and the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica (History Museum if Cathedral Basilica is unavailable). |

They have chartered a 46-passenger bus and we have to guarantee at least 30 people.
The tour will be on Monday the 21st from 0900 - 1530 (9: AM- 3:30 PM) It is suggested that if you and your guest(s) plan on taking this tour then you should send "Shifty" the fees as soon as possible.
