11th ANNUAL REUNION
ERLANGER, KENTUCKY 18th - 22nd October 2006  Our 2006 annual reunion will be held the 18th - 22nd of October 2006 at the Holiday Day Inn Cincinnati Airport hotel located in Northern Kentucky just three miles from the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport and only ten miles from Downtown Cincinnati. The Address is: 1717 Airport Exchange Boulevard and is just across the river from Cincinnati, OH. Check in on Wednesday and check out on Sunday. Each Marine/Guest will make your own reservation by calling the direct line to the hotel: 1-859-371-2233 or l-800-holiday. The room rates will be $86.00, plus 11.3% tax. This rate will be good for three days prior and 3 days after the reunion. YOU MUST STATE THAT YOU ARE WITH A/1/7 MARINE CORPS ASSOCATION REUNION! Hotel van available for trips to Horse Track, Shopping, or local Restaurants 19 October: 6:30 to 9:00 AM Breakfast on your own - Hospitality Room 'till 6:30 PM 10:00 AM Tour of City, with Riverboat Cruise and lunch. Return 4:00 PM 6:30 PM North Kentucky Welcome Reception - Hospitality Room open after reception until? 20 October: 6:30 to 9:00 AM Breakfast on your own. 9:00 AM - Board Bus for trip to Wright-Patterson AFB, USAF Museum. Return 4:30 PM Dinner on your own 10:00 - Hospitality Room Open until? 21 October: 6:30 to 9:30 AM Breakfast on your own. 9:30 AM - Business Meeting, Memorial Service after meeting. 12:00 - Hospitality Room Open until 4:30 PM 6:00 PM - Hospitality Room re-opens until 7:00 PM 7:00 PM - Banquet, 50/50 drawing, drawing for items donated and others stuff 22 October - Reminiscing and farewell until 2007 12:00 - Check out THIS YEAR BREAKFAST WILL BE ON YOUR OWN There will be a 15% discount on the Hotel's Breakfast buffet in the restaurant. |

There are two tours scheduled:
TOUR 1: A City tour by bus crossing the Ohio River into South Cincinnati, Ohio, with many sites
to see, such as: The "Paul Brown Stadium," where the Cincinnati Bengal Pro Football team play.
Stopping at the "Cincinnati Red's Ball Park" and the "Red's Baseball Hall of Fame," On to the site of the "Underground Railroad Freedom Center" and the "North River Side Drive." Then back across the river to the Riverboat for "Lunch On the River," and cruise. (See page 2) Back on the bus for a tour of "Historic part of Newport," and "Newport on the Levee." Stopping to view and hear the "World's Largest Swinging Bell." Also, stopping at the "Historic St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption," and tour the "Historic District" in Covington KY.
