BUSCH GARDENS TOUR


Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is the ultimate family adventure park offering an array of fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent.

A unique blend of thrilling rides, one of the country's premier zoos featuring more than 2,700 animals, live shows, restaurants, shops and games, Busch Gardens - Tampa Bay provides unrivaled "real" excitement for guests of every age.

Busch Gardens was recently rated the most popular theme park in Florida among residents of the Tampa Bay area.

Food and Beverage Restaurants, snack bars and juice stands are located conveniently throughout the park. MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted at the Crown Colony and Desert Grill Restaurants. Sorry, coolers, food, drinks, and picnic items may not be taken into the park. For vegetarian meal options please stop by the
Guest Relations window at the main entrance to the park.

The tour will be on Monday the 4th of October and will be departing from the hotel at 9: AM. Those who are going on the tour should eat breakfast early and ready to leave from the front of the hotel.

The price for the tour this year will be $70.00, this includes the one day visit to the park plus bus trans- portation. Providing we have more than 54 to register for the tour a second bus will be on standby.


HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

The hotel will be the Hampton Inn & Suites located in down town St. Pete at 80 Beach Drive, Telephone Number 727-892-9900. There isn't an 800 number for reserve-ations. Check in time is 1500 (3:00 PM) on the 3rd and check out will be 1100 (11:00 AM) on the 6th.

They are offering a Standard Room with a King or Double Bed for $104.00 plus tax per night. Also, a Standard Suite for $134.00 and a Balcony Suite for $144.00 per night plus tax. A rollaway bed will be available at $10.00 per night. There will be a $10.00 per day parking fee, which is subject to change.

The reunion rate will be honored two days before and after the reunion dates.

Cut off date of making reservations is 3 September and there will be a one-night charge if cancelled after this date. Room rates will return to normal charge after 9 September.
Individual call in is subject to a deposit request and when making your reservations please remember to state your are with A/1/7 Marine Corps Association Korea - 1950-53. Sales Manager is John Backe.

Hotel Amenities - "AM/FM Alarm Clock, Coffee Maker in Room, Hairdryers Available, Pool, Fitness Center and Spa." Am Hot Continental Breakfast is available daily.

Tampa International Airport serves the St. Petersburg area. Transportation to the hotel can be arranged by using the "Super Shuttle." Price per person one-way will be $13. - $19. and $26. - $33. round trip accommodation.
