NOTE WORTHY I received a letter from Jeanie Merrall, by the way doesn't use Gene's computer, that Jean is having lots of trouble with his eyes! Six years ago he was diagnosed with "Muscular Degeneration" in his right eye. There was a laser procedure done to stop bleeding. The results left him with no central vision. On 5 November 2005 he suffered a mini-stroke in his left eye that left him without any peripheral vision. To add to all of this on 16th of May he awoke unable to see the alarm clock or his face in the mirror. Again, diagnosed with "no central vision" due to bleeding. This time his doctor said no to another laser procedure at this time because sometime this month a new procedure which might be much better. Just wanted everyone know that one of our own is having some difficulty in his life. Get well Gene, soon!!!! See you all in Kentucky in October. |
