 Well "Stable Able One Seven" Marines and guests there are just about 17 weeks, from July 1, until our Reunion in October! Hope you have made your Hotel Reservations by now and sent your fees to "Shifty"? We are anxious to have you join Virginia and me on the tour of the City. We live here in St. Louis, but I'll tell you we are excited about going on this tour. You know you can see something every day and not realize the history of how all this came about. I've talked to our tour guides and they are terrific and very well informed. We will travel along Laclede's Landing, an area built up right along the river's edge, then to our famous Arch (the more you see it, the more beautiful it becomes). Next we go to the Soulard Area, which is steeped in history dating back to when the fur traders arrived in St. Louis in the 1700's. Soulard |

is a very historical area of St. Louis. It is located less than ½ mile from Anheuser Bush Brewery World Headquarters, and home of the famous Clydesdale Horses. As we said previously, we will stop at St. Louis Union Station for lunch (on your own). This is really a fun place to see and shop. As far as the food is concerned you can get just about anything you would want. St. Louis has so much history but it is also a very modern city and we know you will enjoy every minute you are here.
