September 2004  IT IS LESS THAN SIX WEEKS until we muster in St. Peters-burg, Florida for our 9th Annual Reunion 3 - 5 October. If you haven't made your reservations by now it is very important that you do so immediately as our contract rate will expire 10 September. You need to call the Hampton Inn-Suites at 727-892-9900 telling them you are with the A/1/7 Marine Corps Association - Korea 1950 -1953. The hotel will honor the reunion rates two days before and after the reunion. The Hotel is located in down town St Pete at 80 Beach Drive. A map was furnished in the April Newsletter. Just to name a few: Clearwater/North Beach Area has some of the finest beaches you will ever find on the Gulf Coast of Florida. There are many other attractions available also, such as "Titanic, The Artifact Exhibit, The Clear-water Marine Aquarium, Florida International Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, John's Pass Village & Boardwalk, The Sunken Gardens, and Science Center of Pinellas, Gizelle Kopsick Palm Tree Arboretum, Sea Life Safari, The Pier Aquarium, and the Belleville Biltmore to name a few! There was many parks with lots to see, plus many, many more sites that might suit your fancy. A booklet will be in your registration packet for your information.
