![]() The 10th Annual Reunion will be Wednesday the 5th of October through Saturday the 8th. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside. The room rates will be $99.00 per night plus tax. An advance deposit or credit card guarantee for the 1st night's room and tax is due by 1 SEPTEMBER 2005. We must identify ourselves that we are members of the A/1/7 Marine Corps Association at the time you are making your reservations in order to be eligible for the special group rate. rooms will continue to be held until cutoff date, which is 1 SEPTEMBER. The hotel awaits you!! Get your reservations in NOW as the room allotment will go away on September 1. After that reservations will be based only on availability. Mark your calendars for what is planned to be a great reunion on October 5th through the 8th with checkout on the 9th unless you plan on staying a few extra days. Have fun visiting with your buddies at the poolside Welcome Reception. Enjoy a day visiting with the new recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot after their graduation. Spend the day touring MCRD, having lunch at the mess hall, visiting the base museum and Korea room and participating in a memorial service at the base chapel. Practice up on your hula dancing and get ready for the poolside Hawaiian Luau in the evening. Breakfast will also be fun getting together at our morning continental service in the hospitality suite with full service available in the hotel restaurant. A great evening banquet is planned with the Commanding Officer of "Alpha Animal" Company giving us a briefing on news and methods used by the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines when they went into Iraq and how they continued to do battle while they were there.
